How PPMET 2026 Merit List is Prepared

The PPMET 2026 merit list is prepared by BFUHS Faridkot based on marks obtained in the entrance examination. The merit list determines the rank for counselling and seat allotment.

Merit list is based on total marks obtained in PPMET 2026 (out of 800)
Separate merit lists for each category (General, SC, ST, BC, Sports, NRI)
Candidates are ranked from highest to lowest marks
Merit rank determines priority in college choice filling during counselling
Candidates with the same rank in one category compete for that category's reserved seats only

PPMET 2026 Tie-Breaking Rules

If two or more candidates score the same total marks in PPMET 2026, BFUHS uses the following tie-breaking criteria in order:

First: Higher marks in Biology (Botany + Zoology combined)
Second: Higher marks in Chemistry
Third: Higher marks in Physics
Fourth: Older candidate (higher age) gets priority
These tie-breaking rules ensure fair and transparent merit list preparation

Frequently Asked Questions

You can check your PPMET 2026 merit rank by logging into the BFUHS official website with your application number and date of birth after the result is declared. The rank will be shown in your result card.
